| i dont know how you can just label a town based on what little you have seen......seems narrow-minded. i lived in bham for 18 years, atlanta for 5, and penscola/panhandle for a few along with travelling to just about everywhere in the us except the northwest, 49, and 50. i would put driving in birmingham up with driving in atlanta. 18 wheelers drive through atlanta at 75-80 mph....it is very exciting when not in rush hour. it is a very high paced city and it never boring. next time you go to birmingham, be sure to find moutain brook, shades valley, oak moutain aka the moutainous areas. the panhandle on the other hand is quite boring. my drive to work consists of one hill right at the entrance to base and i get about 2 turns that i can be aggresive with.
